PURPOSE OF USING SILAMIX GRANULE SILAGE ADDITIVE

• Silamix granule silage increases the formation of lactic acid by regulating the silage acidity and the peculiar taste, color, smell that allows animals to consume it hungrily.
• Silamix granule silage consumes the oxygen and controls the heat of silage and prevents nutrients loss. It also shortens the maturation of silage.
• Silamix granule silage has an antimicrobial effect. It prevents the formation of mold, yeast and fungus in the soled materials. These organisms cause digestive problems, liver damage and dysfunction, dysfunction of the kidney, weakening of the immune system, injury of lung, rejection of fodder, lose in consumed fodder, loss of efficiency, increased mortality and disruption of reproductive functions.
• Silamix granule silage prevents the formation of unwanted organic acids and the deterioration of silage.

USAGE OF SILAMIX GRANULE SILAGE ADDITIVE

0,5kg/ ton

For a low dry matter content, the usage of 2 kg or more is recommended. During use, make sure you use dust mask, rubber gloves, protective glass and clothing.

HOW TO MAKE QUALITY CORN SLAGE?

• Corns must be harvested after milk stage, at the beginning of dough stage.
• Practically, if 1/3 – 2/3 grains of corncob yellow rest are white
• Harvested corns must be carried to silo immediately. Add into each layer 0,5 – 2 kg / ton of Silamix
• Each layer must be compressed until there is no air left with tractor or other vehicles. Compressing time must be minimum 5 minutes for each ton of product; for 6 tons of trailer must be 30 minutes.
• Silage must be finished in 2 – 3 days. When silage takes a additional day, silo must be closed temporary and when continuing silage must be opened again.
• Silo must be closed hermetically and fixed with soil and scrap tires. Weather resistance must be increased.

Silage will be ready to use in 4 – 6 weeks.
